Shorty's Rescue Network

The creation of Shorty's Rescue Network is an attempt and effort to assist in matchmaking individuals who need permanent homes for the dogs they have in their care and potentially find new homes by posting your dog here. Adopters who inquire to Shorty's Rescue, whom are not within the state of California will be directed to this blog.

Medical Concerns or Current Health Issues:
Reason(s) for rehoming the dog: It has been discovered, as he reaches the alpha stage of his life, he does not get along with other male dogs and I own several. He is VERY people friendly and needs to be the only animal in a home. With the aggression shown towards the male dog members in my home, my nerves are on high alert & that only adds to the unstable situation. My landlord (also my mother) has given me until 29 Feb 2012 to find a new home for him or she will remove him & have him put to sleep. PLEASE give this boy the loving home he needs – he’s a great cuddler. Because I refuse to surrender him immediately to a death sentence, I too am looking for a new home. I can handle me. . .please help me not worry about Bandit. I can not take him with me with his alpha tendencies towards my other male dogs (also Pitties).

I certify that I am the legal owner of the animal described herein. I understand that there are no written or verbal guarantees given or implied regarding the placement of this animal other than Shorty’s Rescue Network's best efforts. I promise to provide vaccination records as indicated above as well as any other pertinent medical information.
