Shorty's Rescue Network

The creation of Shorty's Rescue Network is an attempt and effort to assist in matchmaking individuals who need permanent homes for the dogs they have in their care and potentially find new homes by posting your dog here. Adopters who inquire to Shorty's Rescue, whom are not within the state of California will be directed to this blog.

*Note: Penny, while is sweet, is very hyper since she is in a kennel most of the day (the clinic cannot have her roaming around while the vets are taking care of patients) and she is very strong. She knows sit, but she needs a really strong hand.

  2. On December 16, 2011, Sandra Gonzalez suffered a devastating house fire in Houston. While she was thankfully able to escape unharmed with her mother, her son, and two of her dogs, she lost everything else - including 5 furry family members - Guero, Coco Chanel, Tiger, Lucky, the beautiful blogville miracle, Shelby.

If you would like to donate directly to The Houston Pittie-Pack fire recovery, you can do so directly via the ChipIn Widget located at the top right of my blog. All donations will be sent directly to The Houston Pittie-Packs mommy to help with any immediate expenses she may incur.

No donation is too small. It all adds up and will hopefully help Sandra begin to put her life back together.

Even if you are unable to make a donation to Sandra, please help us dog bloggers get the word out that our friend Sandra, her family, and two surviving dogs need our help.

If you would like to read more about Sandra's furkids and how they were rescued please visit this link: http://pittiesincity.blogspot.com/2011/12/please-read-some-devastating-news-from.html

I and Sandra's friends would like to personally thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this post.

    Warmest Regards,

Medical Concerns or Current Health Issues: He is on the skinny side but has been vet check and there is nothing wrong he just has avery fast motabilisim.
Reason(s) for rehoming the dog: We got Marley from a friend that could not care for him properly and we have been fostering him and getting him ready for adoption for the past year. He is a big boy and loves to run and play so he needs a good sized, fenced, yard to play in. His special quality is being the best hugger ever, ask him for a hug and he will wrap his paws around your waist and lay his head on your chest.
